Are you a detail-minded, service-oriented System Consultant or Business Analyst with strong organizational skills, ready to play a critical role in bridging the gaps between business needs and technical solutions? As our ideal candidate, you have experience leading system analysis, transformation, and reporting initiatives across enterprise platforms. Key Responsibilities

 

Consulting & Business Analysis

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of project goals.
  • Serve as a liaison between business users and IT teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Analyze business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and recommend technical solutions that align with business needs.
  • Participate in project planning and management activities, including scope definition, timeline creation, and risk assessment.

System Evaluation & Integration Design

  • Evaluate existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement or enhancement.
  • Conduct system analysis to evaluate existing systems and recommend enhancements or new solutions to meet evolving business needs.
  • Conduct analysis on system inconsistencies and recommend resolutions.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and integration design documents for development and implementation.
  • Assist in the configuration, customization, and deployment of systems, ensuring that solutions are properly integrated and functional.

Testing, Documentation & Training

  • Work closely with development teams to ensure technical solutions meet business requirements and are implemented according to specifications.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for system and data integration issues, working with IT teams and vendors to resolve problems quickly and effectively.
  • Facilitate the testing of system solutions and system integrations, including creating test plans, executing test cases, and coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, providing insights and recommendations to enhance system capabilities and business processes.
  • Create and maintain system documentation, including user manuals, technical guides, and integration mappings, to support system users and administrators.
  • Train end-users and stakeholders on system functionalities and processes, ensuring a smooth transition and adoption of new solutions.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with oil and gas systems including Quorum, P2 Energy Solutions, Enverus, FlowCal.
  • Functional oil and gas industry knowledge such as Production, Land, Drilling, Operations, etc.
  • Understanding of system design, configuration, and testing principles.
  • Knowledge of business process modeling techniques and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working multiple projects (splitting time) while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
