As an Operations leader at Novus, you will lead the design, execution, and optimization of operational frameworks that address business challenges and enable scalable growth. Working closely with the Partners and cross-functional teams, you will build and sustain systems, processes, and governance that drive efficiency across resource management, revenue operations, performance measurement, and delivery excellence. Leveraging a deep understanding of operational workflows, you will translate organizational needs into innovative and sustainable processes, tools, and frameworks that empower decision-making and ensure operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Operational Leadership
- Develop and execute firm-wide operational strategies to support growth, scalability, and organizational goals.
- Partner with senior leadership to align processes, systems, and resources with strategic initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Own and drive the operating cadence, including bi-weekly pipeline reviews, monthly forecast alignment, and quarterly business reviews to ensure consistent execution and accountability.
Revenue & Performance Operations
- Oversee revenue forecasting, KPI tracking, and operational support for revenue-generating teams.
- Establish forecasting models with defined accuracy targets and pipeline coverage expectations, ensuring disciplined and reliable revenue predictability.
- Own and evolve CRM, reporting, and operational data infrastructure to ensure data integrity, automation, and reporting accuracy.
- Monitor and standardize performance metrics to connect financial and operational goals.
Resource & Capacity Management
- Lead resource planning and allocation to align capacity with project demands and revenue goals.
- Build processes to anticipate skill gaps, workforce constraints, and hiring needs based on data trends.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize talent deployment and maintain profitable delivery outcomes.
- Collaborate with HR to proactively address skill gaps through hiring, upskilling, and internal mobility initiatives.
Delivery Operations & Governance
- Establish and enforce standardized methodologies, frameworks, and tools to ensure project delivery excellence.
- Monitor project health metrics (margin, client satisfaction) and manage risk escalations.
- Partner with service line leaders to remove operational barriers and support successful engagements.
Data-Driven Decision-Making
- Implement and maintain systems for tracking key operational insights, ensuring data accuracy and a single source of truth.
- Deliver insight-driven executive reporting to guide decision-making and highlight risks and opportunities.
- Enhance firm-wide data literacy and drive adoption of tools and processes that enable proactive business management.
Transaction Readiness & Financial Accountability
- Lead organizational preparations for transactions, including due diligence and operational documentation to ensure seamless transitions.
- Oversee financial accountability mechanisms such as budgeting, forecasting and revenue modeling to ensure ongoing profitability and scalability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance or related field
- 10+ years of experience in operations, consulting, or professional services, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity
- Proven success in leading operational strategies across multiple functional areas, such as resource management, revenue operations, financial management, and delivery oversight
- Experience in scaling operations in a growth environment
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive alignment across leadership at the executive level
- Exceptional financial literacy, including experience in P&L management, budgeting, forecasting and revenue modeling
- Experience mentoring and developing talent, fostering a strong organizational culture, and improving employee engagement
