This role requires someone with exceptional communication skills who can work closely with stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and third-party vendors to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Consulting
- Provide technical consultation for data and systems integration projects.
- Partner with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of project goals.
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and integration design documents for development and implementation.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure technical solutions meet business requirements and are implemented according to specifications.
- Serve as a liaison between business users and IT teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Data Management & Integration
- Design, develop, and maintain integration between various software applications and platforms.
- Design and implement data loading processes.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code and configurations for APIs, ETL processes, and middleware platforms.
- Conduct data mapping and transformation activities.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for system and data integration issues.
- Create and maintain system documentation, including user manuals, technical guides, and integration mappings, to support system users and administrators.
- Facilitate the testing of system solutions and system integrations, including creating test plans, executing test cases, and coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience working on integration development projects.
- Proven experience in data integration, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure.
- Experience with data integration tools and technologies: SQL Server, Databricks, dbt, Dagster, and Qlik Replicate.
- Proficiency in SQL and database management.
- Strong programming skills in Python, C# or Java.
- Experience with SOAP,JSON, XML, and other data exchange formats.
- Familiarity with data modeling and data architecture.
- Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and deliverables.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience in requirements gathering and documentation, system integration mapping, system consulting, or similar roles, with a focus on technical solutions and system integration implementation.
