Key Responsibilities

 

Application Development & Integration

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust full-stack applications using a comprehensive technology stack.
  • Design, develop, and maintain application integrations, including different patterns and strategies.
  • Maintain and enhance existing applications to improve performance and experience.
  • Apply advanced debugging and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues while minimizing downtime and improving application reliability.
  • Understand and implement deployment pipelines and the full Software Development Life Cycle(SDLC) to ensure efficient and effective delivery of software solutions.
  • Ensure the security of applications by implementing best practices for secure coding, conducting regular security assessments, and addressing vulnerabilities promptly.
  • Strong database skills for both relational and NoSQL databases.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with domain experts to gather requirements and refine use cases.
  • Translate non-technical requests into scalable technical solutions that align with project goals.
  • Communicate application capabilities and limitations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 

Workflow Automation & Optimization

  • Use tools like Power Automate, SQL scripting, or custom APIs to automate repetitive tasks and streamline data flow.
  • Optimize workflows to reduce manual input and improve data quality.
  • Develop and integrate APIs, Microservices, and PowerBI/Power Apps to enhance operational efficiency and data visualization capabilities.
  • Support scalability and reliability across development pipelines and deployments.

 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following languages: .NET, Python, JavaScript, C#, Reactor or similar
  • Experience with Power Automate or other workflow automation tools
  • Familiarity with upstream oil and gas systems and concepts is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working multiple projects (splitting time) while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to travel to client sites on an as-needed basis
