A lumber company was concerned about the
productivity and quality in one of its
manufacturing operations. Novus completed
a detailed diagnosis of the operation,
interviewed key personnel including plant
operators, supervisors, and sales and
marketing personnel. We identified some
short-term improvements that could be
implemented and presented recommendations
and plans to address several other improvement
opportunities in the operation, including
productivity, information flow, supervisory
practices, marketing, and production and
process planning and control. |
