Bob Jolliffe worked with the president of a newly formed industrial company to develop corporate policies that covered the range of management and operating functions. Bob reviewed the key tasks that needed to be performed in the firm, employing 35 people initially, and designed the most suitable management structure, reporting relationships and roles and responsibilities. The company achieved the objective of creating a lean overhead structure.
