Bob Jolliffe worked with the owners and
a team of shop employees to agree on a
priority list of manufacturing issues
and to confirm unit production costs.
Bob led the shop team and trained them
in some TQM techniques to identify productivity
and quality improvements in the manufacturing
work flow. The work processes were mapped
and redesigned to yield an immediate annual
reduction in unit production time by 25%
and a substantial reduction in reworked
units. Further improvements were later
identified and implemented by the firm.
