Novus undertook an assessment of the present and potential future capacity of the industry sector on behalf of a regional funding agency. Bob Jolliffe reviewed background reports on the sector, interviewed about half the member firms, and profiled the current state of available capacity. Bob also identified plans and realistic expectations interview respondents offered in terms of growth, acquisition of new technology, use of strategic and/or marketing processes, and planned employment levels. Bob offered in his profile report, some strategic options the client could consider in determining the agency's level of ongoing assistance.
