Trade Center Limited (TCL), through its operating business units, is a leader in the Atlantic Canada business hospitality and entertainment industry. TCL hosts approximately 750 events every year in their facilities and welcomes about 800,000 visitors.
TCL includes the operations of the Halifax Metro Center, Exhibition Park, Atlantic Canada World Trade Center and the World Trade and Convention Center. Working with the management team Novus facilitated the development of the organization's first long-range strategic plan. An internal survey of all staff established a set of critical conditions that were then matched with the external environment through in-depth interviews with customers and an environmental scan. A series of planning retreats resulted in a detailed strategic plan with specific goals and objectives identified for all operational areas of the organization. Novus has continued to support the business planning process at TCL, assisting with the 2004 Strategic Plan.
